Italian Albania 1939 0.20 Lek Coin, Date Variety, BB/SPL - LOTTO/M43336Italian Albania 1939 0.20 Lek Coin, Date Variety, BB/SPL

1939 ITALIAN ALBANIA - 0.20 Lek, magnetic (Cat. Gigante 9/a). Excellent condition, BB/SPL (extremely fine to about uncirculated). The coin shows the variety in which the 1 of the date is almost missing and the last stroke of the fascist year is absent. Very fine and uncommon - Lotto/M43336. From the Gigante catalogue: on some examples, because of a faulty striking of the last stroke of the fascist year, the date can be mistaken for year XVII, which does not in fact exist.
