Ethiopia Coins

Ethiopia Coins, available online at Io Collezionista. This subcategory holds every coin from Ethiopia. The country's official currency is the birr, an Amharic word which from 1976 onwards replaced the old name dollar. Birr was also the term Ethiopians used for the currency in circulation until 1936, the Maria Theresa thaler. 1 birr is itself divisible into 100 santim. The Io Collezionista numismatic catalogue offers a wide selection of Italian and foreign coins, including medals, tokens, vouchers and coin weights, divided into many subcategories, for instance Austria Coins and San Marino Coins.
