Panama Coins

Panama Coins for sale at Io Collezionista. The coins in this subcategory come from Panama and have been carefully selected by Io Collezionista. The currency currently in use is the balboa, a name that since 1904 has honoured the Spanish conquistador and explorer Vasco Nunez de Balboa (1475-1519): crossing the Central American isthmus in 1513, he was the first westerner to see the Pacific Ocean, called at the time the South Sea. Among the most interesting items in the catalogue is a half Balboa coin of 1957 in silver with the explorer's effigy. The Io Collezionista numismatic catalogue offers a wide selection of Italian and foreign coins, including medals, tokens, vouchers and coin weights, divided into many subcategories, for instance Kingdom of Sicily Coins and Portugal Coins.
