Italy 1949 Registered Cover with Authorised Delivery Stamps - LOTTO/41713Italy 1949 Registered Cover with Authorised Delivery Stamps

11/10/1949 ITALY - Registered cover from Cantu for local delivery, franked with an 8 Lire Authorised Delivery stamp plus the 1 and 6 Lire of the Democratica set. A mixed use with ordinary stamps: the delivery tariff fell under the postal concession rules, and concessionaires were allowed to use ordinary stamps when the delivery stamps were unavailable. Attractive and uncommon - Lotto/41713
