6/9/1947 - A handsome cover to Como franked with a 10 Lire Democratica (558), with a very crisp postmark in blue, "Casanova Lanza" Como. An uncommon postmark

September 1949 - A cover to Como franked with a 20 L. (Cat. 561). A double-circle "Como" postmark crossed by the straight-line Carlazzo (CO) handstamp of an earlier period

A group of 14 fragments of covers and postcards, all franked with values of the Siracusana series combined with revenue stamps or poster stamps for the emigrant and anti-tuberculosis funds. All cancelled

6/3/1961 - A black and white picture postcard, Milan, Piazza Cordusio, franked with a 200 Lire Michelangiolesca (Cat. 915). Postmark "Milano succ. 3 6/3/1961", the first day of issue

2/1/1959 - Palermo, the centenary of the stamp of Sicily. A set of two postcards issued for the occasion and franked with the matching series (Cat. 851/852). Special postmarks in red and in black, "Palermo 2/1/59 Centenario Francobollo di Sicilia". Perfect

A 20 L. postal card (C/154), unused and pre-printed on the reverse "Avviso di ricevimento" (advice of receipt), to be used by the Milan post office as a receipt for registered mail - unused, with the handstamp and arms of the delivering office - uncommon.

ITALY, REPUBLIC - 31/1/1948 - A registered manuscripts cover to Lecco franked with a pair of 10 Lire (559), one corner torn, plus a block of four of the 50c. Democratica (547x4), from Milan.

19/1/1950 - Part of a circular from Bova (RC) to Rome with the charge falling on the addressee, paid on arrival with 11 postage dues of 50 Lire (Cat. 108) plus two of 20 Lire (Cat. 106) and one of 5 Lire (Cat. 101), for a total of 595 Lire. Uncommon, although not complete

1950 - A cover to Como franked with a pair of the 10 Lire ORANGE (559), the only marking being a flourished handstamp reading "Annullato".

22/7/1961 - A registered hospital card, with advice of receipt, from Bosisio (CO) to Garbagnate (CO), franked with an 85 Lire Michelangiolesca (910) as a single franking - uncommon.

September 1949 - A group of 5 covers, all franked with the 20 L. A. Volta (611) as a single franking. The covers come from Lenno and Carlazzo (Lake Como) and nearly all were posted in the first month the issue was in use.

23/11/1949 - A service-model folded letter from Groppello (PV) to Dorno (PV) with a superb four-colour franking from the Democratica set totalling 7,50 Lire, made up of 50c., 1, 2 and 4 Lire (547 + 550 + 552 + 553).

14/12/1948 - A population register folded form from Valmadrera (CO) to Malgrate (CO), franked for 7,50 Lire with the 50c., 2 and 5 Lire Democratica (Cat. 547+552+555)
