Italian Republic stamps from 1961, available online at Io Collezionista. In March 1961 the 313th Aerobatic Training Group was formed, better known as the Frecce Tricolori. The team, made up of 10 aircraft, 9 in formation and one solo, is based at Rivolto airfield near Udine. A display by the Frecce can last up to half an hour and covers three different programmes depending on the weather and on the area in which the aerobatics take place. Among the Italian Republic stamps issued in 1961 and offered by Io Collezionista is a prized Gronchi Rosa stamp of 205 Lire from 1961.
