Yugoslavia
Yugoslavia stamps for sale at Io Collezionista. Yugoslavia was a state entity born in 1929 and dissolved in 2003 after many armed conflicts and political upheavals. From its ashes came the sovereign states of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Macedonia, Slovenia, Montenegro and Serbia. Kosovo later joined the ranks of the Balkan countries, an area lying within the borders of Serbia, which still does not recognise its status, that on 17 February 2008 unilaterally separated and proclaimed itself a republic. This category holds many stamps issued between 1960 (Yugoslavia Stamps 1960/1969) and 1985 (Yugoslavia Stamps 1985), along with thematic sections such as Yugoslavia German Occupation Stamps.
