31/10 - 9/11/1982 VATICAN - a Vatican aerogramme, special airmail postal despatch for the visit of His Holiness to Spain - from Vatican City to Avila - special Vatican postmark and, on the reverse, the pictorial postmark of 1 November from Avila. The aerogramme returned to the Vatican on 9/11/1982.

9-10/10/1982  VATICANO - Partecipazione dell'Ufficio Filatelico Vaticano alla Esposizione Filatelica " EURPHILA 82"  Busta viaggiata per Como con L'annullo Figurato delle Manifestazione e di arrivo a Como.

22/5/1983 MILAN - the visit of His Holiness John Paul II to the Milan Fair - postcard with a special pictorial postmark.

15/6/1982 - VATICAN AND ITALY - The journey of His Holiness John Paul II to Geneva. A group of three: a Vatican aerogramme carried as an air postal dispatch, 1 cover with the special postmark for the Pope's visit to the International Labour Conference, and 1 Italian postal card for the Holy Father's departure from Rome Airport. All three carry the Geneva and Vatican City arrival postmarks on the reverse

2/1/1983 - ITALY / VATICAN - Visit of His Holiness John Paul II to Rieti and to the Nativity of Greccio - Vatican aerogramme plus a cover with the pictorial postmark of the Rieti visit, and a letter card with the pictorial postmark of the visit to the Nativity of Greccio. All the items were genuinely carried and bear arrival postmarks.

10-13/6/1982 VATICAN - the visit of H.H. John Paul II to Argentina, cover with the Vatican pictorial postmark " Pont Max Pastoris Amore Argentinam Visit", on a cover carried to Como.

21/5/1983 ITALY - the visit of His Holiness John Paul II to Seregno (Milan), a card with the special pictorial postmark, properly postally used to Como.

11-21/6/1982  FRANCIA - Partecipazione delle Poste Vaticane all'Esposizione  " PHILEXFRANCE"  busta con annullo speciale figurato viaggiata per Como. 

10-13/9/1983 VATICAN - the visit of H.H. John Paul II to Austria, postcard with the special pictorial postmark " Spem Augens Ioannes Paulus II Austriam Visitat ", carried to Como.

19/3/1986  ITALIA -   Prato (FI)  visita di S.S. Giovanni Paolo II°  Busta con annullo speciale figurato. 

28/6/1983  CITTA' DEL VATICANO -  Veglia della Solennita' dei S.s. Apostoli Pietro e Paolo  Vespri Solenni  e Benedione dei Sacri Palli  Anno Santo della Redenzione 1983 - 1984 .  Busta regolarmente viaggiata per Como 

7/10/1984 ITALY - the visit of H.H. John Paul II to Crotone (CZ) - cover with the special pictorial postmark of the Holy Father's visit.

24/11/1971 ITALY REPUBLIC - the 50th Anniversary of the founding of the Comboni Missionaries Institute - cover with the special pictorial postmark of Venegono Superiore (Va).

5/2/1984  VATICANO -  Giornata delle Chiese Orientali Divina Celebrazione in rito Bizzantino presieduta dal Santo Padre - cartolina con annullo Vaticano. 

11/4/1982 VATICAN CITY - A lot of 29 covers with the postmarks used by the various Vatican offices for Holy Easter. All the covers were genuinely carried to Como and bear an arrival postmark. The postmarks differ in the letter codes and numbers of the various offices - a lot that is not easily found, for the specialist in Papal postmarks.

25/3/1983 VATICAN CITY - A collection of 50 postcards, all genuinely carried to Como, with every postmark used by the Vatican offices for the occasion. The postmarks all differ in their letters and numbers. An uncommon group for the specialist in Vatican postmarks.

12-15/5/1982 VATICAN - the visit of His Holiness John Paul II to Portugal, special pictorial postmark "IO.Paulus II Cultor B.M.V. Lusitaniam Petit" on a cover.

2-10/3/1983 VATICAN - the special pictorial postmark " Supremus pastor Americam Mediam Visit " for the return of H.H. John Paul II from his visit to America, on a postcard carried to Como.

29/8/1982 - ITALY - The departure of His Holiness John Paul II from Riccione for Vatican City - a cover with the Riccione postmark and, on the reverse, a Vatican City postmark. A very handsome and uncommon cover, franked with the stamp of His Holiness John XXIII: the two newly canonised popes together on a single cover. Postally used.
