Discovery of America thematic stamps, available online at Io Collezionista. This subcategory holds every item connected to one of the most important geographical discoveries in human history, the landing of Europeans in the Americas by the Italian Christopher Columbus, in the service of the Spanish crown. Among the higher value offers in the catalogue are a lot of 13 stamps from 1952 (San Marino, complete set) dedicated to the birth of Columbus and a 5 Lek stamp from 1992 (Albania) dedicated to the discovery of America. This is only one of the Thematic Stamps subcategories on the site, alongside Ships and Navigation Thematic Stamps and Theatre Thematic Stamps. The main Stamps category gives a full overview of the Io Collezionista philatelic catalogue.
